Hugo Meder

Second violin

Hugo Meder is establishing himself as one of the most promising violinists of his generation. Praised by critics, Le Monde describes his "intense playing", while Bachtrack notes that he "recalls the great violinists of the past […] without ever giving the impression of imitation".

Coming from a family of winegrowers in Alsace, Hugo Meder joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in 2016, in Alexis Galpérine's violin class and Claire Désert's chamber music class. He graduated in 2021 with the jury's congratulations, before continuing his training in the advanced performance programme (Diplôme d'Artiste Interprète). Since 2022, he has been an artist-in-residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium.

When musicians open the doors to their art — so you never hear music the same way again.
